About Thomas J. Piccolo, DDS — Profile of Success
Dr. Piccolo attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and earned both his undergraduate and doctorate degrees there, receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1982, and has been practicing dentistry in Scottsdale since 1985. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), belongs to the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Equilibration Society, Arizona Dental Association, Central Arizona Dental Society and is a participating member of local study clubs.
Dr. Piccolo has also received training at the L.D. Pankey Institute. This prestigious postgraduate program strives to “treat patients at the highest level of current knowledge and care” to provide patients with optimal oral health–a philosophy Dr. Piccolo has personally adopted. The Institute provides hands-on training, where he has learned about a wide range of dental issues from TMJ and jaw function to periodontal prosthetics.
In his spare time, Dr. Piccolo volunteers his services at the John C. Lincoln Children’s Clinic. He also enjoys playing baseball and golf, water skiing, hiking, and spending time with his two sons, Matthew and Chad.
